Description
From: Pézenas, Languedoc, France
Varietals: Grenache Blanc, Colombard, and Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains
Tasting Notes: This Blanc wine from Famille Bruno Lafon showcases beautiful, subtle aromas of Muscat - orange blossom and stone fruit, complemented by bright notes of citrus and melon imparted from the Grenache Blanc and Colombard grapes. These aromatic qualities of lush fruit and citrus seamlessly carry through to the palate, creating a fresh, fruit-forward experience and a lingering finish.
Pairing: Fresh seafood dishes such as grilled shrimp, scallops, or oysters are excellent choices. Light salads with citrus vinaigrettes or fruit components like mango or apple are also great pairings, with the wine's fresh, fruity character enhancing the salad's flavors. Try a Mandarin Chicken salad! Asian cuisine, such as Thai green curry, Vietnamese spring rolls, Salmon Teriyaki, Phad Thai, or sushi, pairs beautifully with Asian flavors.
