From: Dunee Hills, Oregon
Varietal: Pinot Noir
Taste: Mature aromas and flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and dried cherry meet an ethereal scent of dried rose petals and meld seamlessly with savory notes of cinnamon, cumin, white pepper, warm leather, and earth.
Pairing: This gorgeous Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with any dish featuring mushrooms, root vegetables, or the following classic pairings. These classic pairings include Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au Vin, Poulet Roti, and Duck Confit. And, though those suggestions are wonderful, our favorite pairings with this wine are Char Siu (see below) or Peking Duck.

About. Dusky Goose is a limited-production Pinot noir skillfully crafted by Lynn Penner-Ash, featuring fruit exclusively from the Rambouillet Vineyard and a few select blocks from our Dundee Hills neighbors. The Rambouillet Vineyard is located in the Dundee Hills AVA, Oregon's premier grape-growing AVA. Pinot noir from fruit grown in the Dundee Hills AVA has brought international acclaim to the Oregon Wine Industry for quality, intensity, elegance, and distinctive spice characteristics. The location of the Rambouillet Vineyard was selected for its slope, ideal elevations for ripening fruit, and 100% Jory (volcanic) soil. All these elements are essential to their objective: making the best Pinot Noir possible, produced from fruit grown in the Dundee Hills of Oregon.
