Q: Can I stop by the shop to browse?

A: Unfortunately, due to the small size of the shop, in order to protect our staff, and pursuant to Governer Inslee’s Stay Safe-Stay Healthy proclamation, we are not allowing customers into the store at this time.  However, we have altered the front door of the shop into a service window, which we affectionately refer to as our win(e)dow.  We do also have a small selection of private shopping appointments available on Mondays.  Check here for information and to see the availability of private shopping appointments.

 

Q: How does the win(e)dow work?

A: Walk right up and a member of our staff will be happy to help you pick out the perfect bottle(s) for you.  A few pieces of information that will allow us to assist you:

  1. What is the occasion?  Pairing with a particular food?  Gifting?

  2. Are you looking for a certain type of wine?  If so, let us know.

  3. What is the general price range you’d like to stay within?

  4. Are you looking for a particular bottle you’ve had before?  If so, having a picture of the bottle, or writing down the name of the wine, will help us quickly identify it.

 

Q: How can I order wine otherwise?

A: Before the pandemic, we did most of our wine sales in person and via wine tastings multiple times a week.  But, alas, like many others, we have had to pivot.  Now, our website, www.championwinecellars.com is the easiest way to see what we have in stock and to place an order.  You can click on the “Store” tab to view bottles by region, by bottle size, wines by women and BIPOC winemakers.  You can also click on our “Seattle Delivery/Pick-Up” for our four to six bottle themed wine packages.  We are also available via 

 

Q: Can I pick up my online order at the win(e)dow?

A: Yes.  When you view your cart and hit “Check Out Now” on the website, you will enter your customer information and you will be prompted to enter your “Shipping” information.  You must enter your address at that point, but once you do, you will be given the option to “Pick Up In Store.”  If you are located in an area that we are able to ship wine, you will also be given the option to have your wines shipped via UPS Ground or 2nd Day Air. 

 

Q: When will my order be ready for pick up or delivery?

A: 

Pick up: If you place an order on the website you will receive an email message confirming when your order is ready for pick up.  Please wait for that message before you head to the store, or give us a text or call at 206.284.8306 to confirm when your order will be ready for pick up.  Once your order is ready for pick up, you are welcome to come to the shop to pick up your order from the win(e)dow during our regular store hours of 11am-7pm Monday-Saturday.

 

Delivery: We strive for same-day deliveries for online orders within Seattle city limits that are submitted before 5pm.  We will contact you to confirm your availability to accept the delivery and, if needed, to confirm your delivery address.
