Next is the 2022 Les Petites Sardines Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie, a lively and refreshing Loire Valley white. With flavors of lemon zest, green melon, and a signature saline finish, it’s perfect for enjoying with shellfish or light appetizers.
The 2023 Domaine de l'Idylle Gamay Rouge AOC Savoie adds Alpine freshness with its cool red fruits, light body, and hint of menthol. It'll pair just as easily with takeout gyro's on busy nights as it will alongside charcuterie and fromage boards, vegetable gratin, and roasted chicken over potatoes, caramelized shallots, and sopped up with baguette.
For a taste of Southern Rhône, we’ve included the 2021 Vignerons d'Estezargues Cuvee des Galets Cotes du Rhone Rouge. This popular red offers raspberries, black berries, and plum skin with a touch of Mediterranean herbs, violet and a pleasant hint of baking spice. Its light to medium body and smooth tannins make it a great companion for grilled meats or hearty vegetable stews.
From Beaujolais, the 2023 Fabien Collonge Chiroubles "L'Aurore des Côtes" delights with its ripe cherry and raspberry flavors, soft texture, and hint of earthiness. It’s a crowd-pleaser that pairs well with charcuterie, soft cheeses, or roasted poultry. Finally, the 2018 Chateau Sicot Bordeaux Superieur brings structure and elegance with layers of blackcurrant, plum, and subtle oak. Its well-integrated tannins and long finish make it a standout for steaks or rich autumn dishes.
