Taste: In the glass, this red from Cariñena DO has a deep ruby red color with purple highlights. On the nose, the wine is aromatic, with notes of ripe blackberry, cherry, and plum, along with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and cloves. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and smooth, with a velvety texture and flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, and spices. The tannins are well-integrated and provide structure to the wine, while the acidity is well-balanced, making it a great food wine.

Pairing: This wine is versatile and pairs well with a wide range of dishes, including grilled meats (beef, chicken, lamb), stews, and roasted/grilled vegetables. It also goes well with strong cheeses (cheddar, gouda, or blue cheese) and charcuterie, as well as dishes that include corn (check out the two recipes below!), eggplant, mushrooms, or lentils. For the best experience, it is recommended to serve this wine slightly below room temperature, around 16-18°C.

This wine is a great example of the high-quality wines produced in this region, known for its warm and dry climate, which allows for the production of ripe, full-bodied wines.

The name 'Care' comes from the careful attention and dedication that the winemakers at Bodegas Anadas put into crafting this wine. The grapes for this wine were carefully selected and hand-harvested from the best vineyards in the region. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 6 months in oak barrels before being bottled and aged for an additional 6 months on the lees, giving it a complex and layered flavor profile.
