From: Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, Bordeaux, France
Varietal: Sauvignon, Semillion
Taste: From the Producer: “Pale yellow color with green reflections. An expressive and elegant wine with floral notes supported by citrus and exotic fruit aromas. The complexity on the palate combines breadth, balance. The fruity notes of grapefruit, lemon and passion fruit offer a refreshing tonic and mineral feel. A very pleasant wine to share with friends…"
Pairing: It pairs beautifully with roast turkey glazed in citrus, where the wine’s bright notes mirror the tangy sweetness of the glaze, and its mineral backbone cuts through the turkey’s richness. Herb-crusted salmon finds a perfect partner in the wine’s grapefruit and passion fruit aromas, complementing the herbaceous crust while refreshing the palate. Honey-glazed ham benefits from the wine’s fruity brightness and minerality balance, offsetting the ham’s sweet and smoky profile. For vegetarian options, butternut squash risotto’s creamy, nutty flavors are elevated by the wine’s exotic fruit and mineral qualities, while green bean almondine gains freshness from its light floral and citrus tones, complementing the nuttiness of toasted almonds.
