From: Veneto, Italy
Varietals: Glera, Perera, Bianchetta, Grapariol, Verdiso, Marzemina Bianca
From the winery: "We produce Col Tamarie, a white wine naturally refermented in the bottle, made from many varieties of grapes, historically grown in the small village of San Lorenzo in Vittorio Veneto, which is the highest hill in the Prosecco area (500 meters). All our plants are treated with homeopathy and most of the work in the vineyard is done manually. Let's act as little as possible in wine, without using chemicals and technology."
Tasting Notes: "Deep straw yellow in colour, with aromas of candied ginger, lemon, yellow apple, brioche, and chalky minerality. Racy acidity glazes melon, lemon, and a trace of eucalyptus. Grapefruit, walnut and a hint of mint linger on the dry, crisp finish. Super refreshing." –Cara Rutherford, caravino.net
