"the gray wine from Toul"
It is the specialty and emblematic wine of the Côtes de Toul appellation. Halfway between white and rosé, it represents almost 60% of the volumes produced at Maison LELIEVRE.
Resulting from direct pressing of Gamay and Pinot Noir, the Toul Gray Wine is a true “Blanc de Noirs”. The absence of maceration with the skins differentiates it from a rosé wine. The two hours necessary for pressurization will be sufficient to give it a pink gold dress.
Its aromas of red berries and its fresh, lively and long mouth reconcile lovers of great wines with rosé wines.
It goes perfectly with a large number of dishes: with Lorraine specialties such as quiches, pies or other pâtés from Lorraine of course, but also with specialties based on crustaceans or more spicy cuisines.
