2018 RED I.Q. - “It’s a No Brainer!”

This Columbia Valley blend features Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a small amount of Petit Verdot. Unlike most entry-level wines, the juice in this guy gets the same love and tender attention that their top cuvee receives. It provides a safe space for the winery to play with new vineyard projects that don’t make it into their upper tier wines, but still yield fruit of exceptional quality. This little bottle is remarkably well priced for the quality at under $20. Lush yet well-structured, barrel spice presents at the front leading into layers of dark fruit peppered with bright berry.
