Varietals: 90% Grenache Blanc, 10% Airen and Viura
Tasting Notes: Fot-Li is an elegant, full-bodied vermouth that strikes a perfect balance between sweet, grassy aromas and that characteristic bitter kick. The dark brown spirit smells of herbs with great hints of rosemary and sage. On the palate, it is soft and rich with plenty of hazelnut flavors.
The grapes are vinified organically and come from single vineyards located in Tarragona (DO Terra Alta) and Penedes, in Catalonia. As the grapes were macerated with an infusion formula of orange peels, anise, cardamom, nutmeg, laurel, oregano, fennel, sage, vanilla, and more. The vermouth rested for a month in old French and American oak barrels prior to bottling.
On the label: A robust, elegant bottle with an exquisitely designed label inspired by the work of the early Catalan Modernists, who were also active in the city of Reus. At the same time, the label recalls Reus’s prominent role in the international hazelnut market with the famous slogan “Reus, París, Londres”. But the most important element, crowning our message, is the winged hourglass reminding us that time flies, and that we must use it wisely by living with enthusiasm.
