From: Entre-Deux-Mers, Bordeaux, France
Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle
Taste: This wine has a bright yellow-gold color and a rich nose of super-ripe white fruits with a heady floral touch. On the palate, it offers a fresh and inviting experience with full, round flavors of citrus, lemon, and grapefruit, balanced by light mineral notes and a certain liveliness. The intense aromatics carry over beautifully, combining floral and fruity flavors with a subtle trace of acidity on the finish.
Pairing: Pairs excellently with seafood dishes, particularly those featuring light, delicate flavors that complement its citrusy and floral notes. Consider pairing it with grilled or baked fish, shellfish, or sushi. The wine's acidity and fresh, lively palate make it an excellent match for seafood salads or ceviche, where the citrus elements can mingle. Additionally, creamy dishes like lemon and herb risotto or a light pasta primavera can balance the wine’s bright and mineral qualities.

About: Vignobles Landié, a family-owned estate, has been in the wine business for over 30 years. The estate's founder started as a simple winegrower selling in bulk before transitioning to bottling and selling wine directly in the late 1990s. This transition included the construction of a modern stainless-steel winery equipped with cold storage facilities, which allowed the estate to produce high-quality, value-driven Bordeaux wines. Today, Vignobles Landié produces wines under the Château Le Roc label, for their AOC Entre-Deux-Mers wines.
Château Le Roc is located in the Entre-deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, spanning five communes north of Langon and south of Libourne. The estate benefits from diverse terroirs and soils, which contribute to the character of its wines. The vineyards primarily consist of clay and limestone soils; the vines are about 30 years old on average.
Cédric Landié is the current proprietor of Vignobles Landié. He continues the family's tradition of winemaking and maintains the estate's reputation for producing excellent Bordeaux wines. Educated and trained as an oenologist, Cédric profoundly understands winemaking's technical and artistic aspects. His journey began by helping transform his family's business from bulk wine sales to producing high-quality bottled wines.
