2015 Giraudon Bourgogne Aligoté $16.75
Burgundy, France

Tucked right outside the South West corner of Chablis is an area called Chitry, which is one of the four communes of the Auxxerois. The Giraudon family has been farming and making wine in Chitry for centuries, and has about 18.5 hectares dedicated to Aligoté within the area. Chitry as a whole grows about 40% of the vines dedicated to Aligoté. Once the austere inspiration for the Kir cocktail, the varietal shows itself beautifully when cared for properly, with the right amount of vine age and vintage.

2014 Petit Chablis Domaine d'Elise $21.85
Burgundy, France

This Petit Chablis rests in a commune called Milly, to the west of the city of Chablis. The vineyards lie on top of the south-facing premier cru of Côte de Lechet. Frederic Prain prunes as much as possible to prevent abundance and harvests as late as he's able, giving the final wine richer fruit and roundness. 100% Chardonnay, with no oak aging, this Petit Chablis is an excellent balance between fruit and minerality, with the classic salinity and round zesty citrus to provide a lengthy finish.

2014 Cheverny (Rouge) Hervé Villemade $21.95

Loire Valley, France

Located in the Loire Valley, all Hervé's vineyards lay within Cheverny and Cour-Cheverny. This particular cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir, and Gamay made entirely in concrete tank. He's been certified organic since 2000 and does most of the vineyard work himself. His Cheverny rouge is juicy and bright, and great in hot weather slightly chilled. Although there is bright fruit here, there is an earthiness to the wine that balances all the fruit.

2015 Saumur (Rouge) Domaine Filliatreau Château Fouquet $18.99
Loire Valley, France

Château Fouquet is a small single plot and biodynamic vineyard located right outside Saumur-Champigny. The Filliatreau's are renowned for bringing the wines of Saumur and Saumur-Champigny back into the world limelight in the 1990's with modern, fresh winemaking techniques. Their wines are pure fruited and staples in many French restaurants. Although they made their mark 20 years ago with stainless steel tanks, they have since adopted older, natural ways of tending to their vineyards, hence the adoption of biodynamic viticulture in Château Fouquet.

2016 Stift Gœttweig Pinot Noir Rosé Messwein $19.85
Kremstal, Austria

Stift Gœttweig is a Benedictine monastery founded in 1083. Once renowned as one of the greatest wineries in Europe, the estate got a new lease on life in 2006 with Fritz Miesbauer and Franz Gansberger. This Pinot Noir Rosé is their Messwein, or altar wine, which has been produced only with the blessing of the bishop. It's made to be light with pure fruit. Packed with tons of complexity, zesty spices, and crunchy red fruits.

2015 Fosilni Breg Sauvignon Blanc Domaine Ciringa $21.95
Å tajerska Slovenija

2009 was the market launch of Fosilni Breg (fossils mountain) Sauvignon Blanc of Domaine Ciringa. This territory with shell limestone and Cambisol soil provides ideal growing conditions for this mineral wine. Only Sauvignon Blanc grows on the slopes of Ciringa, the Slovenian part of winery Tement’s most prestigious single vineyard Zieregg. Mineral and pure in taste.

2014 Johanneshof Reinisch Rotgipfler $22.75
Thermenregion, Austria

Located in Austria, thirty minutes south of Vienna in a historic wine growing region called Thermenregion. If the name of the area sounds suggestive, it is. The geothermal hot springs underneath the vineyards were partly responsible for the name "Thermenregion." Rotgipfler is an indigenous Austrian varietal. There are only about 100 hectares left in the world dedicated to the production of this uniquely impressive white wine, full of exotic flavors and a creamy palate.

2016 Malat Furth-Palt Grüner Veltliner $21.85
Kremstal, Austria

Weingut Malat is located an hour south of Vienna, in the heart of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) wine country, and situated below the Stift Gœttweig Abbey. They're an award winning family winery where everyone works together to put the best possible quality wine into the bottle. The Furth-Palt Grüner Veltliner is their uncomplicated wine for everyday drinking. Spicy, classic and pleasurable.
