Sniff, Taste, Spit (or don't), Repeat: Suthap's Birthday Vin
Add this to the list of 'not-to-miss' things that happen once a year! It's Suthap'sbirthday, almost 2018, and we are going to celebrate! We'll be opening and tasting wines like the ultra classy, Parigot Blanc de Blancs and Caroline Léstime's "Grand Lys" Crémant de Bourgogne. Don't be mislead by the classification, these are both Crémants that surpass their category in jaw-dropping glory.
The Parigot Blanc de Blancs incorporates Aligote to their Chardonnay dominant cépage, it is sur-latte for 18-36 months, and hand-riddled. Caroline Léstime is the daughter of famed Jean-Noël Gagnard and has been the steward of the estate since 1989. Under her watchful eye and deft touch, the estate marries power and grace, minerality and subtlety. Her 'Grand Lys' comes from vineyards right above her Chassagne-Montrachet holdings, and holy wow, it's not to be missed.
In addition to those two, we'll be opening Champagne (!!) and finishing the night with wine to cure all ills. Let us present the magical Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet Fixin 2015. Amélie Berthaut recently took over the seven generation domain in 2013, and her influence is breathtaking. She takes the labor-intensive approach of vineyard care first and foremost, and as a result, her wines are divine. This especially is a must-get, must-experience wine while we can. I'm pretty sure she'll be famous soon and her wines out of (at least my wallet's) price range. Prepare yourself for a seductive Burgundy that's not going to break your wallet. All the bells and whistles of the wines that'll make your toes curl, and mind whirl.

All The Hits: Famed Regions, Famous Winemakers, Magnums & More
It's Friday night, New Year's Eve is right around the corner, and we got all the wine you won't regret enjoying. We'll be featuring wines from heavy hitting regions like Pauillac in Bordeaux, famed for their iron-fist, velvet glove mouthfeel and all-star renegade winemakers like Marcel Deiss out of Alsace, France. All this and more, including grower Champagne, magnums, wine from Bandol. Everything you need for celebration, food, and saying goodbye to 2017 and hello to 2018!

Head Start On Those Resolutions with Natural Sparkling Wines!
Yep. The clock keeps ticking, and we are all on the way to 2018. The holidays are lovely with all the celebrating and eating, but it's getting to that point where a lot of us are looking forward to getting back to a healthier routine and/or setting goals for the upcoming year.
This is our last tasting of 2017, and we decided to end the year on a high note. All bubbles, all healthy. Low-intervention winemaking, earth-loving farming practices, and low to no sugar equal a great way to bring in the New Year without too much of a hangover to get ahead of those dreaded resolutions.
We'll be tasting sparkling wine from Bugey, an appellation in the Savoie (think Alpine sparkling wine), along with Crémant to rival Champagne (at less than half the cost) from the famed Jean-Paul Brun of southern Burgundy. Then, we'll take a jaunt through the Aube and taste Champagne from 100% Pinot Meunier and revel in rare Champagne made from a Solera system. Bernard Dumont dedicated one stainless steel tank to the project that was first filled in 1991. The first release was in 2010. An incredible experience in taste and age.
