From: Beaujolais, France
Lucien Lardy is a third generation winemaker who cultivates some of the best Fleurie plots in Beaujolais where he practices responsible farming. The vineyard is located in Fleurie, one of the ten Cru in Beaujolais. It is at a “lieu dit” named “Roches” because the bedrock comes right up to the surface, giving the vines a very poor soil in which they have to struggle to grow. The vines average 40 years of age and are planted at a density of 10,000 plants per hectare.Tasting Notes: This ripe, creamy wine is full of yellow fruits touched by honey, with a rounded texture. Offering a rich texture and perfumed acidity, it finishes with a squeeze of lemon juice. Drink now.
Pairing:Try it with poultry, white meat skewers, grilled fishes, fruit with almonds and cream
