From The Producers:
“Cellier des Chartreux” (Carthusian Cellars) is typical of our ancient, family-run estate, in that it represents a powerful yet subtle expression of a Jura terroir. The vines are in the plot known as “en Boivin” on micaceous lias marls, and give a moderate yield of 2.3 TPA (35Hl/Ha). The wine is aged for 3 years in oak barrels.
This wine has great cellaring potential of between 20 and 30 years.
We recommend serving it at 14°C with hot starters, fresh water fish, or white meat.
