95 Points - Wine Spectator (2012 vintage):
"This delivers a beautiful beam of ripe, pure plum, cassis and bitter cherry fruit notes, underscored by chalk, bay leaf, lavender and iron accents. The long, tightly focused finish shows serious grip for the vintage. Best from 2017 through 2025. 300 cases made."–JM
A superb and deep ruby color. Powerful, richness, and complexity. Notes of black fruit and liquorice but also "garrigue" and minerality. Harmonious, elegant and concentrated flavors of blackcurrant, fig compote and violets. A very well balanced wine, with good structure and a lingering finish of cloves and spice. - Winemaker
