We are thrilled to share these offerings with you this week! We've included a brief description of each wine below for both Wednesday and Saturdaytastings. We hope to be seeing you at our shop this week for the tastings! And remember, we have great wine available in most price categories. We have and love everyday selections under $15 a bottle that are delicious and wallet-friendly and tons of rosé for the beautiful sunshine!

Wednesday Tasting


Anastasia Brut Spumante Cantina di Mogoro $19.95

Made with Semidano, a varietal with a unique expression in Mogoro, thus getting a DOC. This is a lovely delicate wine that shares notes of ripe white fruit and white flower. There is a persistent savory quality to the palate that makes this wine fun and versatile as an aperitif or with cold cuts.

2014 Fossa Mala Sauvignon DOC Friuli Grave $17.85

Made with 100% Sauvignon Blanc, this unique wine comes from a vineyard located in a small microclimate in Fiume Veneto. Light yellow in color with a smack of citrus, a handful of herb and floral aromas drift from the glass. The palate is richer, with peach and apricot flavors. Pairs well with raw or fried seafood.

2014 Ariano Sogna di Volpe Rosé IGP Puglia $16.85

100% Montepulciano from San Severo, Foggia province, Puglia. Its name means the "Dream of Red Fox." Pretty aromas of lush red fruits and pastry with lots of lush raspberry on the palate. This wine pairs well with a wide range of food, including boiled eggs, charcuterie and bouillabase.

2014 Tenuta di Collosorbo Le Due GemmeSant' Antimo DOC $17.85

Sant’Antimo, born from Sangiovese grapes, blended with French varieties as Syrah, Cabernet Souvignon and Merlot. It’ s a fresh fruity wine, with a good structure but even softness, it blends the warm international style with the typical flavours of their terroir.

Saturday Tasting


2009 Huguet Brut Gran Reserva D.O. Cava $29.95

The Huguet family devotes certain high parcels to the production of world-class sparkling wine, blending the Montonec and Macabeo with a significant percentage of Pinot Noir. Aged a minimum of 30 months, hand-riddled and disgorged on order.

Bodegas Yuste Aurora (Barrio Alto: 'The Lady') D.O. Manzanilla de Sanlúcar de Barrameda $18.85

Iconic Manzanilla (sherry) named for the widow Aurora Ambrosse Lacave, pioneering female sherry executive of the early 20th century. Yuste has skillfully integrated the 19th-C. solera with his own to produce a complex, rounded and saline Manzanilla approximately 8 years of age, bottled unfiltered with minimal treatment.

2016 Bodegas Angel Rodríguez Martinsancho Verdejo $17.95

From free-run juice, the new wine is racked into large, centuries-old subterranean oak vessels prior to clarification and bottling. A highly extractive, herbaceous and minerally-complex Verdejo with excellent aging capacity and a perennial hallmark wine for the region.

2015 Familia Montaña Tinto D.O.C. Rioja $12.75

100% Tempranillo from the Rioja Alta, vines over 20 years old. An approachable young wine with floral and mineral notes and elegant acidity. Not aged in wood.
