The Gonnet family has a long history of residence in Bédarrides (since 1600), and began making wine in 1950. Their first holdings were in the southeast of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and expanded only in 2002 to Domazon in the Gard (Côtes-du-Rhône). The family has not used chemical fertilizers for the last 20 years, and practices sustainable farming methods which lean toward biodynamic practices.
60% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 10% Cinsault and Carignan. Traditionally made and matured in vats.
This wine is fresh and fun. Soft natural spices, fresh red fruit and a lean palate make this wine perfect for the summer or afternoon hours. Serve lightly chilled, on a porch.
