"Firm and focused, this structured version offers a well-meshed range of dried apricot, almond biscotti and cassis flavors, showing a clean chalkiness to the texture. Drink now through 2026. " (3/2014)
The exuberant 2006 Baron-Fuenté Champagne is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir (45%, 40% and 15%). The wine spends more than 7 years on the lees, and is as rich, opulent and intense as you would expect from a négociant who owns their own vineyards and buys only grapes that they select personally. A wine for celebration indeed!
